Our school district was proudly represented in this year’s Young Georgia Author Competition!
Congratulations to our District-Level Winners:
Fischer Merritt, 6th grade, for his story “Imprinters”
Joseph Lingefelt, 9th grade, for his story “The Attack on Mother Base”
Both Fischer and Joseph will advance to the state-level competition, where their work will be judged alongside top entries from districts across Georgia. We wish them the very best as they continue in the competition!

Olivia Wintersmith, 7th grade – “Streetlights”
Sydney Hollis, 10th grade – “Untethered”
Tilden Hobgood, 12th grade – “The Price of Wisdom”
