9th grade students will have a 9th grade Parent Night Thursday, August 10, at 5:30 p.m. in the lunchroom. Make sure to join us.

Schley County Wildcats, it's time to sign up for Partnership for Success Club. This is an inclusive, school-based club for students for all abilities. We have a 30 member limit. The first 30 students with their completed application and dues will be in he 2023-2024 Partnership for Success Club. You may pick up your application from Mrs. Howard or Mrs. K. Smith. Applications are due by August 23, 2024.

Students who wish to join FCCLA may see Mrs. Driver for a membership form. Dues are $30 and are due back to Mrs. Driver by August 31.

Auditions for this year's One Act Play will be held this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after school in Mr. Myers's room. Please see Mr. Myers or Mrs. Morrison to pick up an audition packet.

Any student interested in joining the CHARACTERS INC. Drama club can pick up an application from Mr. Myers or Mrs. Morrison. Membership in CHARACTERS INC. is the only way to attend the field trip to the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, so please see Mrs. Myers or Mrs. Morrison to pick up a membership.

Students wishing to join FBLA may pick up a sign up sheet outside Mrs. Cheek's door. Deadline to join is September 4, and dues are $20 which includes a club t-shirt.

Please see Mrs. Driver to pick up a membership form if you wish to join FCCLA. Dues are $30 and include a t-shirt.

The 1st Day of School is underway, and we are excited to have everyone back for a great school year! We are also excited to announce that our school performed extremely well on last year's state testing. Out of 181 school systems in the state, we placed in the Top 15 in twelve of the fifteen tested areas.

The deadline for requesting a schedule change is Monday, August 7th at midnight. Students have been emailed a link to request a change.

Reminder: There is an athletic meeting for all athletes and their parents today at 4:30. This is for any athlete in grades 6-12. This will be conducted in the gym before the Middle/High School open house which starts at 5:15. ENTER THE GYM THROUGH THE BACK DOOR OF THE NEW LOBBY.

See Mrs. Cheek in room 035 tonight to join FBLA. The first 40 to sign up and pay their $20 dues will be able to participate in hosting an off campus fall festival at the Play Zone!

Work Based Learning Orientation Friday, August 4 at 9:15 a.m. in the cafeteria. Attendance is mandatory to start the program.
