The Georgia Department of Education has released their School Climate Survey for schools to administer. Students at the middle/high school will be given the opportunity to take the survey on the following dates below. Please let us know if you would like to opt your child out of participating in the survey.

High school after school assistance today for math and science.
Work based learning applications are available for pick-up in Mrs. Conner's room. Limited spots are available. Turn in your application as soon as possible. Last day is April 21.
Congratulations to those that participated in the regional Literary competition. All students who placed 1st in their events will go onto compete at the State Literary Competition on March 25.
All cheerleading tryout paperwork is due today before 3:00 to the high school office.

Attention Class of 2025: It’s not too late to order your class ring!
Jostens will be here to take class ring orders Wednesday, March 8th from 11:15-1:00 in the Lobby. To tell your story and design your ring, go to www.jostens.com. Remember to print your online design or complete an order form and bring it with your $100 down payment. If you have already placed an order, you may make a payment on the 8th as well.
Attention Class of 2023: Jostens will deliver your senior supplies only on Wednesday, March 8th from 11:15-1:00 in the Lobby. Cash or money order only will be accepted at delivery for any remaining balances. No checks will be accepted. You may also call the Jostens office to pay with a debit or credit card, or pay online at gagrad.com. Again, your senior supplies will be delivered Wednesday, March 8th.
The Prom Committee will be meeting with Mrs. Hart and Mrs. Reid in room 201 at 9:15 on Tuesday, February 28. If you are on prom committee, please make arrangements to attend this meeting.
All students who are signed up to take the ACT on our campus on March the 7th need to meet Mrs. Green in the cafeteria Tuesday morning at 9:15 during TAA time.
On Tuesday, March 14, we will host Dual Enrollment registration day for GSW at Schley County High School. A representative from GSW will be present to ensure all documentation and information is collected from the student to ensure enrollment for the summer and/or fall semester of the 2023-2024 school year.
Students are required to sign up for an available time in the front office by Tuesday, February 28. Students wishing to participate in the Dual Enrollment program must have met all the registration requirements prior to Dual Enrollment registration day, March 14.
If you are interested in taking classes at GSW we will assist you in completing a new student application for dual enrollment on Wednesday, March 1. GSW has a test score and GPA requirement for dual enrollment, for those of you who have not met the test score requirement, we will offer Accuplacer testing at the high school on Thursday, March 9. Please note, there will not be a makeup or retest opportunity. Registration for classes will be held on Tuesday, March 14.

Middle School dance reminders
· The dance will be held in the middle/high gym
· You may be dropped off on the bus ramp
· Doors will open at 6:00
· Dance ends at 8:00
· 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will have a check-in table for your grade level.
· If you plan to have pictures taken by Madison Hernandez photography, please bring your money and choice of package.
· Once the dance ends, your grade level will escort you to the bus ramp for your ride to pick you up.
Read and Ride Across America in the Media Center if ROLLING! We have made it 935 miles to Canton, Texas, which is just east of Dallas. Come help us get to San Diego, California!
