This is a reminder that mini cheer camp registration and payment is due Monday 8/22.
If you would like athletic schedules you can download the Schley County Schools app. Click on schools in the bottom right, then click athletics, then Menu on the bottom left and then scores and schedules. From there you can choose your team/sport.
If you purchased tickets for the scrimmage at Sumter Co. Friday night through GoFan you should receive a refund this week because the game was canceled. If you purchased in person there is no refund process, those tickets will be good for the Sumter game this week vs. Houston Co.

Tickets for Friday's scrimmage at Sumter Co. can be purchased at the gate or online. If you are planning to purchase at the gate you will be required to do so at the main gate on Oak Ave. If you purchase online you will be able to enter behind the visitor side of the stadium.
The Wildcats host Irwin Co. in a scrimmage tonight at 7:30. Admission is $10. All parking lots are open. There is a narrow walkway from the lot between the schools to the field, everything else is the same. As always, the road behind the Fieldhouse is closed to auto traffic.
We would like to wish the Schley County 8U baseball team the best of luck as they represent the state of Georgia and travel to Dothan to compete in the World Series. Good luck players, coaches, and parents!!! Go show them what it means to be a Wildcat!!!!
Due to the construction at the middle/high school, the student parking lot will not be open for Friday night's alumni game. Please use the baseball/softball parking lot, the parking lot at the elementary school and the parking lot between the schools.
This Friday, July 29 at 7:30 is our 2nd Alumni Football Game. Meet the Wildcats will be at halftime for all fall sports. $5 admission, no passes will be accepted. Also, If you ordered football shirts, they will be available for pick up at the game.

Middle school football will resume summer workouts tomorrow and Thursday from 5:00-7:00. Regular practice will begin next week on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5-7 and Thursday 3-5. All players grades 7&8 need to have all required paperwork completed to participate.
We are saddened today to announce that long time Track and Cross Country community coach Tommy Barnes passed away this morning. For years he volunteered his time serving the athletes of Schley Co. Please keep his family in your prayers.
Congratulations to our coaches and athletes on winning the region title in the directors cup for the 22-23 school year. The boys were 1st in the region and the girls 2nd to secure the title. Overall we were 19th in the state as a school with the boys being 17 and the girls 22.
A huge thank you to Todd Hatcher, Milton Stembridge, Amanda Methe, Laura Forehand, Teresa Edwards, Mark Long, Tiffany James, and Taryn Crenshaw for volunteering time and expertise for our free physical clinic today. They got well over 100 physicals completed for our students.
The boys golf team is tied for 4th after round 1 and just 2 strokes out of 3rd place. Let’s go get them tomorrow.
