SPECIAL EDUCATION

          The Schley County School System believes all students deserve access to the general education environment, as well as non-academic school-based activities. Our students will disabilities are no exception to this; they are capable of learning and growing academically, socially, and independently. Our school leaders, teachers and support staff are responsible for and in complete support of the success of ALL of our students. Through inclusivity, equity, and well-designed instruction, our schools offer a safe, supportive, and consistent learning environment. To that end, our students with disabilities have access to a rigorous curriculum, in the least restrictive environment, that is meaningful, challenging, and aligned to Georgia’s grade-level standards.
